what is the diference between High antenna gain and low
antenna gain and whivh one is better and why?

The main difference is in applications, i.e. if the application is Target tracking then high gain antennas are used because the beam width is less and the spectral clarity is high.
If the application is for ECM or ECCM applications then low gain antennas are employed, because they have more beam width
and can cover large area. But with a less spectral clarity.
