consider a2-b2=(a+b)(a-b) ( a2 mean a square.)
put a=b, then
b2-b2=(b+b)(b-b)
b(b-b)=(b+b)(b-b) (take b common on LHS of the equation)
1b= 2b ( b-b) get cancled on both side
1=2 b also get cancled on both side.

In line #4, you can not cancelled the (b-b) terms on both
sides, it's a fallacy!

If you cancel (b-b) terms, it like cancelling zeros on both
sides.

Then all the numbers will become equal to each other...

1=2=3=4=5=6=7=8=9=10=....
