a/b=3:5
b/c=8:5
a=3 b=8*5/5==>b=5; c=5*5/8==>25/8
hence a=3 b=5 c=25/8
multipying by 8
becomes a=24 b=40 c=25
Now,
Ingredient a

(24/89) x 35 = 9.44 litres
Ingredient b
---------------
40/89 x 35 = 15.73 litres
Ingredient c
--------------------
25/89 x 35 = 9.83 litres
So b=15.73 lts
