There is no license for linux, however there can be 3rd
party applications which are licensed and should be
purchase to use.
There are certail dist. of linux which are charged, it
doesnt mean that they are licensed. they charge for their
support and the updates to the release you are using.
Its true, Linux is under GNU. and its Open Source Software
