in thermal power plant the steam produced is made to cool
after falling on the turbine blades.
my question is why this is done while the same is needed to
heat up again.

in this cyclic process, cooling is needed to convert water
from hot steam. This water is again reheated to convert hot
and high pressure steam.

armature winding of dc machine produce alternating emf then it convert in to dc by using commutator.But only we consider armature resistance why don't we consider inductive reactane effect?
