Hi my L1 B Blanket Visa got rejected in Mumbai US
Consulate. He wrote "not specialized" in the petition. Also
told me that I want some more information from ur HR and
give this document to him/her, see you in next couple of
weeks. I guess the document he gave me was 221(g) paper
(seemed like a xerox one) which said that your application
is not considered in ins....definition of specialized
knowledge professional why they are different etc.
My HR said that this is a rejection, let us know if u
receive any call in next 2 weeks.
Anybody who has gone through this kind of issue please
answer...
Any idea what is this ?
Does this mean its a complete rejection ?
After how many days can I apply for another visa ?
Can I apply L1B Blanket visa again and what are the
chances ?
I would appreciate an answer...

When the Visa Officer gives a rejection paper and says that
you are not qualified for specialized Knowledge and asked
you to come back after a few days with additional
information , then it is not a complete rejection but the
consulate officer needs additional details for justifying
why you will fall into the specialized knowledge category.
If i can see your rejection form then i will be able to
suggest you according to your rejection form. Usually in
this kind of situations, the person should be to justify
his reason for applying on blkt petition and then go back
to the consulate.

My H1 visa was filed through US employer in April 2008. After one month (in may 2008), my current employer in India initiated the L1 Blanket visa processing and i got the visa in September 2008. I went to US and worked there on L1 visa for one month and returned to India. In November 2008, i have attended the H1 visa interview as it got picked in lottary. During that interview, visa officer cancelled my L1 visa and put a query on H1. But i failed to submit the required docs by November 2009 as my US employer didn't provide them. Now the same employer in India initiated L1 blaket visa and the interview is schedled in next week. Could anyone share any information that would help me to give my best in the coming interview?? Hi, I got rejected 3 times for B1 2 years back. but that time i was working for small company. now i am going to appear for the L1 visa. my profile has couple of changes, one is, i am working for a bigger well known company and now i have completed MCA. earlier when i got rejected B1, i only had MBA which is not a technical degree since i am into software development.
