27.) Given that the cost price of 10 oranges is equal to the
cost price of 1 kg of apples and the cost price of 12 apples
is equal to the cost price of 1 kg of oranges. If the
selling price of 15 oranges is equal to the selling price of
1 kg of apples, then the selling price of 1 kg of oranges is

8 apples

let 'x' & 'a' be the kg and number of oranges
let 'y' & 'b' be the kg and number of apples

GIVEN :
cost price:
10(x)=(y)1
a(1)=12(b)

10(x)/a(1)=(y)1/12(b)
10x * 12b =ay --> 1

selling price:
15(x)=(y)1
a(1)=b(?)

15(x)/a(1)=(y)1/b(?)
15x * ? =ay -->2

solve 1 & 2 equ (ie subtract 1 & 2)
the answer ill be 8b............

so itz 8 apples
