Some persons decide to raise Rs. 3 lakhs by equal
contribution from each of them. If they contributed Rs. 50
extra each, the contribution increased to Rs. 3.25 lakhs.
How many persons were there ?
(a) 400
(b) 500
(c) 600
(d) 700
(e) None of these
Answer Posted / samba
ans is 500.because
400*50=20,000
500*50=25,000
600*50=30,000
700*50=35,000
so here initially 3 lakhs.after they contribute 50 extra
then 25,000 thousand extra will come.so in the above
equation which one we get 25,000 i.e the answer.
