what is the basic difference between synchronous
motor,synchronous generator and induction motor
Answer Posted / chaitanya
induction motor is generally treated as rotating transformer becoz its working principle is same as transformer(mutual induction) and the I.M is of rotating...where as in synchronous machines the magnetic field is rotating and the speed will be constant which is not constant in the case of induction motor!!
