1. Full Backup or Snapshot only --> Backing up everything
2. Incremental Backup --> Backing up everything since last
changed on full backup.
3. Differential Backup --> Seems to be another name of
Incremental Backup.
4. Hot backup --> On the fly taking backup. [ /etc/hosts,
/home/ nic cards conf files and dbf files ]
5. Cold Backup --> Taking backup after stopped the services
on the server.
6. Dump Backup --> Backing up everything on storage media
like say tape, CDs or etc.
