Earth's resistance will differ from place to place....
it all depend's on soil resistivity... some places it may be red soil, were as in some places it may black cotton soil..
so we need to measure the resistance using earth tester..
but normally it will in few ohms.

how the synchronizing is obtained at bus couplers in grid substation? (because there we cannot change the frequency in one of transmission lines like in generator synchronization)
