Sidhant Dogra is right however main reason of creating vlan
is.. a switch has one broadcast domain. so what ever broadcast
it gets it will forword to all the end devices.. however if
u creat vlans in switch u can break broadcast domain into
many smaller broadcast domain..quoting sidhant dogras
