Determine the MVA rating of the power transformer given
that 110/66 kV,1000 Amps.
Folks how can i calculate the MVA rating with this Data??Plz

I have taken 66kv 1000A and pf as 0.85
MVA=MW/pf so firsrt we must calkulate MW
MW=(1.73*66*1000*0.85)/1000
=97MW
MVA=MW/pf
=97/0.85
=114 say 120MVA
There is no single transformer for 120MVA
so you can use 3*40MVA Transformers in parral operation
