I Agree with Mr. Virendra J Joshi.
In case of Square Wave the voltage will not vary with time. There will be only two stages one is saturation point and the other is cutoff point. This can be happened only in DC voltage. When the power is on then it will reach to saturation point and be stable unless until it is off. Once it is off it will reach to cutoff point and be stable unless until it is on. One completion of on stage and offstage is called one complete cycle.
