Deadlock Avoidance - Providing additional information in advance about which resource a process will request and use during its lifetime.
Deadlock Prevention - It provides set of methods to ensure that at least one of the necessary conditions for deadlock cannot hold .
Deadlock Detection - It provides a method that examines the state of the system to determine whether deadlock has occurred or not . It provides method to recover from deadlock.
