What is the main difference between the terms
instrumentation and Automation?
Answer Posted / aadi
In a more broader technical sense, Instrumentation deals
with sensing a process, suitably monitoring the process and
controlling it.
But Automation also partly deals with Aritficial
Intelligence, wherein the transductionand process
controlling is done interactively by in-built features of
the system, unlike mere Instrumentation, where an external
circuitry or a mechanism needs to be deployed.
