i dont know root password then this situation can we change or
break root password to ant process

when ur starting the kernel it will show ur OS version
In this press "space bar", it will show 3 lines
root(hd0,0)
kernel /vmlinux-something version
initrd /initrd-version.img
select kernel label (2nd line)
press e
press e to edit
give a space and type 1 or s
press enter key
press b to boot
now system boots in single user mode
change the root password
