How the neutral earthing is connected in DG alternator

DG Neutral earthing should be connected after neutral
contactor connected towards load side because to avoide
neutral neutral failure to load side which is danger incase
of neutral contactor contact tips carbonise or breakes.
Second reason is to balance load during synchronising.
Third reason is to install REF.

how will reduce the voltage. if 12volt/250ma transformer toreduce 6 volt
