what is breather i a diesel engine. state its function.
Answer Posted / york shipley
due to the continuous operation of any diesel engine the
lubricating oil gets high temperature due to which there
will be oil vaporization and this vapor can not be allowed
to remain inside the crank case which may get high pressure and
there fore the breather/pipe is provided to send it out to
atmosphere to keep safe engine operation.
