1. end command startsap in unix
2. it calls the saposcol ( for OS maintainence and logs ),
strdb ( start signal to database ) and Sapstart script (
script to start the instance )
3. Sapscript on the basis of parameters defined in start
profile starts dispatcher , message server , gateway , log
receive demon and log send demon.
4. Dispatcher forks the child processes and starts work
processes as defined in the default profile or instance profile.
5.The work processes make connections with DB's shadow
processes except the gateway.
6. then SAP Starts
