How to find quantity of cement mortar?
I want to know the req quantity of cement for plastering 300
sft in final coat with 12 mm. Any math involved? Plz help

area of plastering=300sq.ft=300/10.76=27.88sq.mt
thickness of plaster=12mm=0.012m
ratio of mortar=(1:6)summation of ratio=7
total volume of cement plastering=(27.88x0.012)cum
=0.334cum
0.334+55%=0.517cum(extra 55% for dry material )
cement=0.517/7=0.073cum
0.073/0.035=2.08bags(1 cum cement volume perbag=0.035cum)
sand=0.517/6=0.086cum=3.07
