There is a bucket with lots of marbles. Some are red, some
are blue, some are green and some are orange. We don't know
the quantity of any. With your closed eyes how many minimum
number of marbles you will pick so as to 100% sure that
atleast 2 marbles have the same colors.

Suppose there are r red marbles, b blue marbles, g green
marbles and o orange marbles. Then we need to find the
minimum no of marbles of a color i.e, max(r, b, g, o). The
answer will be max(r, b, g, o)+1.
For example, say there are 2 red marbles, 3 blue marbles, 4
greean marbles and 5 orange marbles. Now the max of any
color is 5. If we pick up 5 or less then 5 we will never be
sure that they are of different colors, as all of them can
be of same coloe orange. But if we pick 6 we will be sure
because none of the colors have 6 marbles.
