Severity shows seriousness of defect with respect to
functionality.Severity is always raised by TESTER.
Priority shows importance of the defect and it is
raised/decide by DEVELOPER.
For EX. 4 High Severity & Low Priority
1.)In the application,a page is rarely accessed but its
output is wrong.
2.)In application,a print option has the functionality to
print the current page.Its works fine in simple way but if
user gave command to print the page from 10 to 25 or can
say in special case then page get crash down.
For EX. Low Severity & High Priority
-On the Login window,the spelling of CANCEL button is shown
as CANNEL.
