An orange colored glass has Orange juice and white colored
glass has Apple juice both of equal volumes. 50ml of the
orange juice is taken and poured into the white glass. After
that similarly, 50ml from the white glass is poured into the
orange glass.
Of the two quantities, the amount of apple juice in the
orange glass and the amount of orange juice in the white
glass, which one is greater and by how much?

Suppose assume the total initial quantities to be 500 ml.
After 50ml is poured to white glass, it becomes 550ml.
i.e 500 + 50 (10:1) ratio
Again 50ml is poured to orange glass, it is in the ratio
10:1 (i.e) 45.45: 4.54 of apple juice : orange juice
so, Now the orange glass becomes
Orange juice = 450 + 4.54 = 454.54ml
Apple juice = 45.45ml
In the White glass,
Apple juice = 454.54ml
Orange jucie = 45.45ml
so, the amount of apple juice in the
orange glass and the amount of orange juice in the white
glass are equal.
