first of all we need to know what is severity and
priority...
severity : how severe is the bug...
high : data loss,system crash,security breach
medium : loss of functionality, wrong output
low : spelling mistake,color mismatch..
priority : how visible is the bug...
high : very visible.Must be fixed immediately
medium : must be fixed before release
low : not easily visile,if fixed its ok or can be postponed
till next release.
severity low,priority low :
if in the thounsands of content on the web page there is a
spelling mistake in one or two words..
severity low,priority high :
misspelling in the logo of company
severity high,priority low :
web browser is supposed to handle 50 instances at a time
but after 55 instances system get crash...
severity high,priority high :
password filled in the login form is not encrypted....that
is a security breach...
if the quality of print outs is getting affecetd then it is
bug with severity low, priority low else this not a bug at
all.....
