IN 3-PH COMPARED TO SINGLE PHASE LOSSES ARE LESS..
LARGE POWER IS TRANSMITTED SO THAT A GREATER NEED CAN BE
FULFILLED..
WE CAN TRANSMIT POWER TO A LARGE DISTANCE WITH LESS COST OF
TRANSMISSION AS COMPARED TO SINGLE PHASE.
IN INDUSTRIAL SECTORS THE MACHINERIES AND EQUIPMENTS ARE OF 3-
ph SO 1-PH CANT BE MADE INTO USE...
