In star connection line voltage is root 3 times then that
of phase voltage while in delta line current is root 3
times then that of phase current.

so if we use delta then current will be less than line
current but voltage will be 6.6kv this will led to high
insulation.

if we use star connection then voltage measured will be
line voltage divided by root 3 thus insulation required is
less.

how can we calculate the ampacity of the electrical wire/cable. and what are the factors must be considered. pls. elaborate.
