Withholding tax is a TDS (Tax deduction at source) on the
AR side Customer deducts the tax and pay's the remaining
amount for which companies receive Form 16 A and on the AP
side the company deducts the Tax and issues form 16 A in
india
Normally the Tax is deducted on service type transaction
In simple Company deducts the tax on behalf of the Govt
and Deposit the amount - its a Direct Tax
