How Earthing is prevents shock?Explain

Answer Posted / v.selvaraj

let me explain with an example...

consider a grinder that we are using in home. the steel
body of the grinder is being grounded for the safety of the
user. so that even if there is any leakage current, and if
the earthing is proper then the leakage current is grounded
without harming the user.
if suppose the ground is disconnected, and if there is
any leakage current then the user will get severe shok when
he touches the steel body of the grinder.
