l2 IS DATA LINK LAYER (SWITCHES)AND ONLY LEARNS THE MAC
ADDRESS (WHICH IS OF 48 BIT)
L3 IS NETWORK LAYER (ROUTERS) WORKS ON IP ADD (32 BIT) AND
ROUTES DATA USING BEST POSSIBLE PATH
