What is the difference between earthed and unearthed cable
Answer Posted / balaji
1.safety of personal is more in earthed cable than compared
to unearthed cable, because all fault&leakage current will
flow through the earthed armour.
2.we can easily found out the potential drop of earthed
cable by measuring volt between neutral and earthed armour
of the cable.so we can easily sort out the earth fault of
earthed cable .if there is no fault approximat volt between
neutral&earthed armour will be zero.
