the above answers are exactly correct. i wanted to give a
clear explanation in non technical form.
the magnitude of the stored charges i.e. electrons is
can be called as voltage.and the flow of electrons is
current.
for example the amount of water contains in a tank can be
treated as voltage. and the flow of water through pipeline
is current.
the water flow in pipeline depends on the amount of water
remains in the tank.thereby current is depends on the
voltage...
