how many amps in 1 KVA? V=440v, PF=0.8 and FREQ=50Hz

Answer Posted / sushant

KVA = (1.73*VICOS PHI)/1000
1 = (1.73*440*I*0.8) / 1000
I=1000/(1.73*440*0.8)
= 1000/608.96
I = 1.64 A

There is no ralation between volt,ampere & freq
