Breather is basically work as an indicator to show the
moisture content in transformer oil. Usually its normal
colour is blue but after absorption of moisture content its
colour changes into pink which shows a moisture content in
transformer oil which is unacceptable.
Used Silica gel can be reused after passing it to heat after
which it regains its original Blue colour.
