The tabs in Cognos Connection are used to quickly access
the pages that are important to you. You can have tabs for
the Public Folders, "My Folders" and other pages.
When you pull the tab icon menu this icon pulls up a
short menu of tab options these options allow you to make
changes to the Portal Tabs. Other users will not be affected
by your changes. Any changes you make will be against your
own access. You can also change the Portal Tabs in
Preferences. When you delete a page that is included in your
tabs list, the tab will be automatically removed. Your tabs
may also be affected by changes to the associated pages made
by other users who have access to the pages. For example,
when a page is deleted during the current session, its tab
is no longer functional, and an error message may appear
when you click the tab. To see the most current tab
settings, click the Cognos Connection Refresh button . Note:
When you use Internet Explorer as your Web browser, if many
tabs exist, scrolling is added automatically.
