Electic train works by giving supply to the motor through
the transmission line it may be A.C supply or D.C supply.a
collector is used to collect the supply from the
transmission line and it is given to the A.C motor or D.C
motor.The motor is driven by using gears and belts.
D.C series motor, A.C series motor & a.c induction motor
are the motors used to drive the electic train.
25kv a.c supply or 600v,700v D.C supply
