KW is real power which is consumed by machine to give output
Kvar is the reactive power ,this is the power used by electrical machines to set up and maintain magnetic flux on it
now KVA is the resultant power that is vector sum of real power and reactive power
kva=sqrtof(kw*kw)+(Kvar*Kvar)
