What is the difference between QA and QC?

Ans. :- The difference between QC & QA :- QC is responsible
to control the quality from raw material stage to final
finished stage of a product, where QA assures the user that
the product is ready to use/work after all the required
testing & documentation confirmance including warranty &
guarantee period.

We have one home page for a web application.It has so many components which are being tested by different teams. If one component testing get delayed but all other components testing is done, can we sign off testing for that home page? If no, what should be done?
