When an external force acts upon a body, an internal
resistance is setup in that body. This internal resistance
offered by the body per unit area is called stress.
Stress = load/unit area.
The unit is N/mm2 (S.I.Unit)
Types : 1.Tensile stress
2.Compressive stress
3.Shear stress
4.Bending stress
