fo giving best answers for upcoming testers........
TO MY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE ,A TESTER CAN START THEIR
TESTCASE PREPERATION AS SOON SRS DOCUMENT IS FOR FORWARDED
TO BOTH DEVELOPMENT TEAM AND TESTING TEAM,TL WILL DIVIDE
THE FUNCTIONALITIES(MODULES) AMONG THE T-TEAM,AND ASKED TO
PREPARE THE TESTCASE.....IF THE FUNCTIONALITY IS MORE
LOGICAL (ASKED SENIOR MORE TESTER TO DESIGN TESTCASE).
PLEASE CORRECT ME IF ANYTHING TO BE ADDED.......OR ELSE TO

Could anyone please let me know what are the test cases for a rule based system? WE have a module on RBS which relates the data gathered to a set of rules and uses them to verify if the details are correct.
