What is the Difference between E/P Positioner and I/P
positioner in a control valve? In which applications the
respective positioners are used in?

E/P is combination of I/P & positioner i.e. the o/p pf E/P is directaly given to the valve actuator.
And in the case of I/p 4-20ma is given to it & output of I/P is given to the positioner .

Regarding , there is an air cooler which control the fans(50% of AV FANS) by temperature in outlet , and the louver of Air cooler is controlled by HIC from control system , So if on Air cooler we will consider 2 individual I/P converter or positioner?
