• When a tester finds a bug, the bug is reported to
developer, the status of the bug is "open".
If the bug is of less Priority & less severity in the
client point of view, then the developer agrees to fix
that bug in later release of the application and marks
the status of bug as "deferred".
•A defect can be deferred for following reasons:
1. Priority & Severity of the bug.
2. Time Constraint.
