20%profit. If so what will be thwe cost price of the article

Cost price will be 700/-
as sale price after discount of 15% is 714/- ,it means sale
price without discount of 15% is 840/- ( 714*100/85) . Now
if not allowed discount he would have made 20% profit , so
cost price will be 700/- ( 840*100/120
