Why Aluminium wires are used for High tension(HT) lines?
11 KVA/32KVA & aboue
Answer Posted / vilas
weight and cost & conductance are three factors are more
important for transmission lines, So aluminium is selected
to transmit power, as it is light weighted , cost also less
than copper, as weight is less the construction cost of
tower is less.
