Initialize a new disk
#devfsadm
#format ( to label the disk)
#vxdctl –enable
#vxdisksetup –I diskname (c0t1d0s2)
#vxdg –g rootdg adddisk rootnew=c0t1d0s2
#vxprint list
#vxrootmir rootnew
