i am a B.E graduate.i completed in 2008.i just searched for
a job for past 1year in IT companys but due to recession i
didnt get any...now i turned towards bpo and callcentre.but
while attending bpo the very first question they are asking
1.being a b.e graduate why you want to work in bpo
2.what were you doing for past 1year???
plz help me to overcome this...

BPO is for various sectors like medicine, technical support,
even customer care is also a BPO job.(assume you attending a
BPO doing tech support). you can say 'being a technical
educated person i will be able understand the technical
aspects of the product which WE will be supporting and with
that i will be able to handle customer very well.
for your second question you can blinding say i searched for
job for 1 year. because each day you would have not gone out
in search of job, neither you can say your family problems
in there.
you could say i was technically preparing myself to face the
current market conditions in parallel attending few
interviews, thought i did my best performance the current
market condition did not get me a job.
