What is surger vector in 33Kv transmission feeder? We have
AC power generator of 8MW which is paralleled with 33Kv EB
grid. Some times our HT breaker gets trip off due to surge
vector problem. How to over come it? Is there any device to
observe the surge and avoid tripping?

this phenomena is called as vector surge, for examole line
is closed with out checking synchrnous , so due to
unbalance disturbance may happen, this can be sensed by
fixing vector surge relay
