in alternator how we can give power to rotor ? its power is

for this we use the exciter which makes the some ac voltage
and give it to the AVR ( automatic voltage regulater)
electrically,, then it convert it into dc and back to the
field of alternater which produces and helps in producing
magnetic fields,,, and when engine rotates the armature
conducter moves into the magnetic field then it produces
voltage and so on,,,
