the outer strand flux links external surface of the
cable,while internal mutual flux links both external &
internal surface of the cable thereby increasing the
inductance of the innner core of the cable which leads to
hindrance in flow of current in internal section of the
cable & hence concentration of current is higher on outer
surface called skin effect
