How to calculate the motor winding resistance ?
Answer Posted / shashikant
there is One meter Called Motor winding resistance meter
(Ohmmeter). it does have four termainal namely 2 V(+ and -)
and 2 I(+and-), all the four terminal are connected to the
winding of motor to which we want to calculate the
resistance, namely Voltage leads are near the studs of the
winding and current leads are connetcted at the edge of the
studs so that while applying the voltage the resistance of
the winding can be calculated rather the the resistance of
the outer studs. This methos is allowed for both D and y
connection.........
